Strike while the iron's hot—and give 'em a reason to come back!
For me, turning event attendees into repeat customers all comes down to what you do in that 24 to 48-hour window after the event wraps up:
- Send a quick follow-up: Shoot them a text or email thanking them for stopping by while you're still top of mind.
- Throw in a "bounce-back" offer: Give them an exclusive discount or perk on their next service if they book within 14–30 days. Urgency is everything here.
- Make lead capture dead simple: Use a simple QR code at your setup for a quick giveaway or raffle. It beats paper forms every time and makes it easy to tag those contacts in Jobber later.
As for promotions that actually work? Keep it simple: one clear offer with a firm deadline. Whether it's a customer appreciation day, a seasonal prep special, or partnering with another local business to split the reach, overcomplicating it just slows people down.
The event itself gets your foot in the door, but the follow-up is where you actually close the job!
I completely agree. The follow-up is where a lot of businesses miss out. Anyone can collect leads at an event, but the businesses that consistently follow up with a personal message and a simple, time-sensitive offer are the ones that turn conversations into loyal customers. The event starts the relationship, the follow-up is what builds it.
