I completely understand! I found myself writing way more than 750 characters too. It’s a great exercise in figuring out what truly defines your business and making every word count.
Congratulations on making it this far, and I’m rooting for you to reach Phase 3! If you’re selected, my biggest piece of advice would be to stay authentic. Don’t try to tell them what you think they want to hear—tell them the story only you can tell. Back up your vision with real examples, measurable impact, and a clear plan for how the grant will help you grow your business and serve your community.
I’d also recommend gathering photos of completed projects, customer testimonials, before-and-after transformations, and any numbers that show your growth. If they ask for additional information, having those organized ahead of time can make the process much smoother.
Keep building your business while you wait. Continue refining your systems in Jobber, collecting five-star reviews, networking in this community, and investing in your brand. Whether you receive the grant or not, those habits will continue paying off long after the application process is over.
Best of luck—I sincerely hope to see your name among the finalists! Keep us updated on your journey. 👏🚀
