No one else finds it odd that the recipients are already multimillion dollar companies? I thought this was about helping the little guys and gals…
I can definitely share details on the program intent and selection. Jobber Grants is designed to recognize excellence in blue collar business and accelerate sustainable growth. We look at how how businesses support their customers, teams, and communities, and how they innovate. Within those parameters, our recipients represent businesses at various different stages and sizes.
There are certainly many other remarkable businesses out there that we hope to invest in with future grants, and we really appreciate everyone who applied.How can we support customers, teams, communities without capital resources? Jobber should offer more grants to the smaller business entrepreneurs, so that they can get a lift up into progress, jobber grant funds helps becomes more impactful to the community in which they're attempting to reach services to this then becomes a mutual empowerment, if smaller businesses like mine are receiving the needed funding in grants, as jobber suggest this would certainly impact our communities and the jobber vision. Otherwise, it seems like a catch 22 that makes no sense
Precisely, it makes zero sense - feels like a scam now. What a joke, giving more money to businesses that didn’t need it in the first place! MultiMILLION dollar businesses! Why aren’t more applicants outraged by this?
