Additional Services-what to charge

Good morning,

I am a new business, about two years old.  I have mostly stuck with my basic services of Lawn Mowing, edging, trimming and blowing everything clean.  However, i recently rebranded and updated a list of new service.  Mulch jobs and flower bed weed clean out, so Weed and bed Maintenance.  My question, how do you all quote mulch jobs or weed clean out like this? I have searched only and see so many different ways, figured i would ask here.  Just looking for tips and tricks.

I would price this hourly+plus disposal fees. your hourly price should be at least 3x your pay rate per for one worker

      I would agree with edentree.

Depending on what you pay, I normally pay my weeding individual $20/hour (she is meticulous) and I charge $60/hr. I have flexibility on disposal options but if it needs to be transported to a dump that is something that may need to be addressed depending on the scope and size of project.

Also it is better to try and stay ahead of it and not let it get bad enough to the point where it starts to significantly impact the appearance of the properties that you manage. Regarding mulch jobs that depends on the size of the job and the time period for it needing to be completed.

I run jobs where a full truck (18 pallets of mulch at 55 bags per pallet) can be strategically placed and fully mulched by 5-6 guys in 1 day.
