Fully Electric / Fully Organic Lawn Maintenance Company…. Your Thoughts?

Is this innovative or stupid?  Do you care and / or will anyone else care?  And if so how do we promote this and let’s take this just one step further…. How can we advocate for more sustainable/cleaner energy?

This is a lot to ask.  Take your time to answer and let’s gather and move in unison to change the status quo together.  Small doesn’t mean weak.  The war is already won, but are you ready to take up the sword to fight the battle in front of you now?

We are!  I’ll let you all know how it goes, but I am curious to hear your thoughts.

  • A fully electric, fully organic lawn care business is innovative and eco-friendly, appealing to a niche market of environmentally conscious clients. However, challenges include high equipment costs, limited battery life, and slower ROI. While feasible for small-scale or residential jobs, scaling remains difficult with current tech. It's a bold idea that is gaining traction, but success depends on careful planning and targeting the right customer base.

  • We launched an e-lawn care service last season and it's been well received.  Electric power, no chemical applications or synthetic fertilizer.  You need to ensure that you qualify new customers as the service is not for folks that want a mono-culture perfect turfgrass lawn.  A lot of folks HATE the big gas powered leaf blowers, so that's something I'd hit up in your marketing.  Good luck!  Mark

Qualifying new customers is super key to onboarding new clients that like the concept, but have no hands on experience with chemical free solutions.  The best sales people go for the no first!  Ask questions and dig for the reasons why someone would not like your services and hone in on that.  Don’t waist your time with people who want to talk about it all day and not be about it.  But for the people who are not looking for perfection, we bring a very high standard that they are blown away by.  For those who are looking for perfection, I suggest the lawn care solutions that we do not carry.

I think it’s a smart move — fully electric and organic lawn care is exactly the kind of shift we need.
It’s quieter, safer for kids and pets, and doesn’t leave behind fumes. If more communities saw services
