How do you find a good crew lead that you can trust?

Have you ever tried to sit down and build out your ideal employee profile?  Once you have this it is easier to build a job ad around this profile and advertise to them.  

Within my company this is something I faced since when starting a company with minimal funds you do not often have a lot of disposable income to put into things like workers comp exemption, unemployment and different elements of what it takes to hire (depending on your states requirements for employment). That said, look into a local temp agency. Shop around, speak with them. They can often offer you a temp for hire situation and depending on how many employees you need do all that work for you for a small fee. So as an example you need an employee, they will do the hiring for you, vet the person, get them hired and handle all things necessary that your state requires to have an "employee". These individuals are hired by the temp agency and not you therefore they are not your direct employees but more so you are considered more along the lines of their "supervisor" in a sense. From there lets say you offer $25 an hour, the agency will charge you roughly-- $35+ (depending on the agency) to handle all the back end work. After a certain ampunt of time, you decide to part ways after a certain number of hours, or pay is fulfilled. Best suggestion is to shop around and really understand your options and the contract you get into with the employment agency.
