What about the integration of the Jobber CRM and logging incoming calls and text messages directly to the customer record? I would love to be able to have a centralized place to see them as needed, instead of searching my phone. Also, as I plan to grow past my single owner/operator model (getting ducks in a row first) how do you handle or route communications when a text or call comes in, but with multiple techs in the field, Tech 1-20 ignore the notifications because there are notifications for each tech on the same Jobber app, so instead of it being a centralized place of communicating, it becomes a place where everyone silences their phone/app. Please help because this is the biggest sticking point for me. I have QB Online and that’s my CRM/Invoicing software, but I use Google Calendar and my dual sim phone for business and personal contacts. It’s a jumble of data and I can’t seem to find the right way to divide my life in a way that would work for adding employees. Thanks!
21Handyman, your fear of "20 techs silencing their notifications" is the #1 reason why scaling businesses fail in the field. If everyone is responsible for a lead, nobody is. We’ve built a Communication & Logic Layer for Jobber that solves exactly what you're stuck on: Smart Routing: Instead of blasting all 20 phones, our system routes SMS/calls only to the specific tech assigned to that Job, while logging everything into the Jobber record automatically. The T&M Trust Bridge: For handyman ops, we’ve automated "Time & Materials" capture. Your techs can snap photos of receipts and log hours via SMS, which instantly updates the Jobber quote for the customer to see in real-time. Low-Friction Forms: We’ve enabled mobile-first forms sent via SMS (not email), so your customers can approve work in seconds while your tech is still on-site. You mentioned looking for a mentor to avoid "recreating the wheel"—we’ve helped several solo operators transition to multi-tech teams by fixing these Jobber sticking points. Would love to show you the blueprint!
