Reducing admin work: my one-step client enrollment workflow using Jobber + Stripe

I’ve been working on reducing the amount of back-and-forth it takes for a new client to enroll in my lawn care program.

Instead of the usual process of request → quote → approval → invoice → payment, I built a simple workflow using Jobber, Stripe, and Zapier.

A client fills out my Jobber request form on my website and is immediately redirected to securely add their credit card on file through Stripe.

Once that step is completed, a Zap automatically:

• updates the client status in Jobber

• sends the client a welcome email

• notifies me so I can schedule the work

The goal was to eliminate manual steps and make it easy for clients to enroll without multiple emails, quotes, or invoices.

It’s still early, but it has already saved time because when someone wants to sign up I can simply send them to the website and the process handles most of the onboarding automatically.

Curious if anyone else has experimented with similar workflows to simplify client onboarding.

Yes, I have a link in my email signature also that clients can click on and fill out a custom jobber form. It’s very useful

That’s a great idea. Having the link in your email signature makes it really easy for clients to start the process anytime without going back and forth. Anything that helps streamline the process and reduce admin work is a win.
