Payment reversal

Can I delete or reverse a payment that was made in error? I posted a payment made twice and I need to reverse one...or can it be deleted?

    Hey Vicki, thanks for your question. Janine is correct! If the payment was made using an offline method (e.x., check, cash, or other), you can delete it by going to the Client Page > Billing History > Select Payment > Delete. 

    If the payment was taken through Jobber Payments, you will need to refund the payment by going to the Client Page > Billing History > Select Payment > Issue a Refund. 

    If the payment was taken by a third-party payment processor that is integrated with Jobber, please reach out to our Success Team for help!

  • If it is just a manually posted payment it can be deleted.  If you are syncing to QBO the payment will also need to be deleted there manually.

    If it was an actual payment taken on a credit card however Jobber payments it will have to be refunded by clicking on the original payment.
