When a homeowner goes quiet after a quote, it's rarely a flat no. Often they got busy, needed to talk it over with a spouse, or were waiting on payday. Here are 5 texts you can use today to restart the conversation.

1. 3–5 days after the quote
"Hi [Name], it's [Your name] from [Company]. Any questions on the [job] quote? Happy to walk you through it or get it on the schedule. Reply STOP to opt out."

2. Around two weeks later
"Hi [Name], it's [Your name] from [Company]. We have a couple of openings next week. Want me to hold one for the [job]? Reply STOP to opt out."

3. When price or budget is the hesitation
"Hi [Name], it's [Your name] from [Company]. If the upfront cost is what's holding you back on the [job], we have a couple of options that turn it into monthly payments. Want me to text the numbers? Reply STOP to opt out."

4. Older quotes (60–180 days)
"Hi [Name], it's [Your name] from [Company]. Life gets busy, so no pressure. Still thinking about the [job]? I'm happy to update the quote if anything's changed. Reply STOP to opt out."

5. The easy-out text
"Hi [Name], it's [Your name] from [Company]. Did you decide on the [job]? A quick yes, not yet, or no all help me plan my schedule. Reply STOP to opt out."

Quick tips:

Always name the specific job so they remember you instantly.
Ask one easy question they can answer in a few words.
Send from a real person's number, not a no-reply number.

Which one would you add or change for your trade?
