Posting flyers or door hangers more effective?

I prefer digital marketing, and door to door marketing the most effective. 

I’ve been going back and forth on door hangers. I’m in a Facebook community just for poop scoopers, and the general consensus there is that there’s a lot of miss. I think I’m going to have some printed and door tag the two houses on either side of my customers and across the street. 

What has really worked for me is treating my Google business page like a social media account. I post there in the updates section, and I think it really helps with my ranking. 

I would say yes but this should not be the only way of advertising. Have a QR code on it that directs your customers to the website.  This is also important so you have traffic to your website.

So far I have tried postcards through Vistaprint and door hangers. I’ll let you know how it turns out. My friend did Angie’s List for buying leads. They wanted too much for me monthly but it may be okay for you. 

Door hangers have proven to be more effective than flyers in terms of distribution. The door hanger must be touched by the homeowner in order for it to be removed from their doors, allowing them to read or look at it more easily.

I made a handwritten note, not fancy design, simple, modern, and photocopied it, added my logo and a qr code with cta on the back. Thought it might stand out since everyone uses colorful designs, etc. Dropped off about 100 of them only at houses with pools by checking on google maps. Only one person has scanned the qr code, no one has called. I dropped them off on a sunday morning, figured everyone will be at home, chilling. I'm going for round two soon, round one was a failure.

I would do Postcards (6x9) double sided...it allows you to put more information and also pictures. Then put out about 1k of these per month at peoples homes by utilizing some "target Marketing" strategies. 

I have tried Instagram ads and got few customers but not work the investment

I keep it simple and pass out in person, family, friends, people I meet while putting gas or if I’m driving by a potential house I’ll pull over and introduce myself. I’m just starting out and have yet to do door to door.

I feel like in person because future customers can interact with you on a personal level
