In my opinion, the number 1 low or no cost marketing tactic is "establish an online presence". A google business profile is free and allows you to 1.) showcase social proof (reviews and photos) and 2.) allows you to get new customers for a $0 customer acquisition cost. Ideally, you've got a professional looking website ranking well too. Both of those will get you showing up in 2 of the top 4 spots on google, the map pack and search listings. Additionally, you can take it a step further and pay for Local service ads and search ads and all of a sudden, you're showing up 4 times with every relevant search.
Definitely agree with creating a Google business profile. This should be one of the first steps for teams. While I would be careful putting dollars behind local service ads (I believe this is going away soon), this is a great piece of advice for those looking to capture more leads and begin creating brand awareness and reputation.
