Which brand has the best lawn mowers?

One Lawn ... I agree with you 100% "STIHL brand is number one" over all because of the dealerships and the service provides, it's a German company and they do believe in the greatest service ever. Their Lawnmowers are Not in sequence with USA standards because they are just getting into that sector of the business. Now have you ever driven or even sat down on a Grasshopper unit, if you haven't do so you'll be amazed and impressed. they have now the Stand On units with 52" and 61" decks and are pure power, the whole entire engine/Deck and transmission moves up and down plus best of all is USA Made. Stihl is great for Chainsaws and all the rest you mentioned and I've work on all, but Not the lawnmower line, so try to demo a Grasshopper and you will see. Attached is a 52" deck with a Kawasaki 27 hp engine, 2 gas tanks and the stand on platform is wider and can be lowered or raise to fit your height for better comfort and avoid exhaustion while working, they also have Diesel units, gasoline an Zero Turns. For a typical yard, Ego's the best overall lawn mower brand right now. Their battery-powered models top most reviews for power, runtime, and ease of use. Toro's a close second, especially if you prefer gas or want a proven brand.

Ok, being involved in the Lawn Business here in Orlando; I had the experience to sell and service TORO Lawnmowers and Skid Steer like Dingo T1000 ... also I have sold and service Grasshopper Lawnmowers (USA made) and the Best of all mowers !!!   Highly recommended also GREENWORKS (High end battery units) and EGO for homeowner's.  However be cautious where to buy, always get a Commercial unit from a Local Dealer w/service and NOT from the Big Stores (No Service)  experience pays well ...    

STIHL brand is number one for my company!! Weed eaters, blowers, edgers all STIHL brand Number One!!

With regards to the Lawnmowing Equipment, I'll like to point another Brand that most Landscaping Companies don't know well ... 

The Company name is Kress and you can find more information on http://www.kress.com or http://www.kresstools.com for example 

this is the Equipment used by high end Commercial Facilities and Maintenance such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Also they are well into the Robotic mowing without boundary wire and Commercial Turf (Golf Courses) care and maintenance.
