Milwaukee vs DeWalt Tools, which one?

We’re Lock Nerds Locksmith, a Buffalo, NY-based company that’s always relied on Milwaukee tools. But we’re curious—what tools do other pros trust? We're looking for honest pros and cons between Milwaukee and DeWalt to see if it's time for us to reconsider our setup.

I really love my Milwaukee tools!! I had a drill that lasted 11 years, until it finally got fried while working in the rain. The fact that it has lasted as long as it has, has made me a loyal customer.

  • Hi Lock Nerds Locksmith Team,

As a fellow pro who’s been in the game for years, I totally get the passion behind your tool choices. At Mr. Backflow, we're a DeWalt family through and through. We’ve found that DeWalt offers the right blend of rugged durability and smart pricing, which is key when you're on a deadline and can't afford any tool failures.

While I know Milwaukee has its loyal fans—with its premium aura and high-end pricing—it ultimately comes down to value. For us, the straight-up reliability and cost-effectiveness of DeWalt tools keep our backflow tests and repairs on track without breaking the bank.

The battle between Milwaukee and DeWalt is eternal, but here's my take: choose the brand that delivers consistent performance without the extra “luxury premium.” Happy tool hunting, and thanks for stirring up the debate!

    Stay sharp,

    Liam a.k.a-Mr. Backflow
