Remodeling company here and we are still looking for a great and inexpensive drafting software to help us draw up bathrooms and basements. 3D is key to helping customers understand what their space can look like. Sketch up seems to be great with visual but it doest give our team all the measurments needed to actually do the work.
Sounds like you're really focused on delivering a great visual experience for your customers! What 3D drafting software have you used? Maybe someone in the community has suggestions for the perfect balance between visuals and accuracy. 👀
There are several specifically for remodeling.. I think the most popular is cedreo. That said, i think you can take some outputs from like a giraffe360 or even matterport and have it go into sketch at scale. For more advanced stuff, there are several companies using generative AI to not only help with the remodling pre-build but even automatically create take-off lists (material quantities, phases, etc). Some of these are ibeam.ai and kreo.... but the main tool is planner5d for most companies.
