  • Least expensive and most portability are the Chain Knocker Flex Shafts, look at Plumber-Tools website, coming from across the Atlantic in Finland, these tools cannot be beat to unclog your ordinary Grease or Wet-wipe blockages, spend a few extra hundred for the M18 drill foot pedal, to utilize 2 hands to push and pull the Auger, this setup in itself being cordless and lightweight, means rooftop vent access is a breeze and not having to run an extension cord is such a relief. Otherwise, I also have my eyes set on a future Hydro Jetter by General Tools for when the time arrives, small residential jetter thats contained in a sealed Diamond plate box. I think gone are those days of those heavy Ridgid sectional or drum machines, or just for those larger commercial runs.

  • Hey, Novaksplumb518,

If you're looking for cost effective and something that can handle main drains, you can find units on sites like Vevor. Other than brands like Vevor you could go for something in the Ridgid lineup. Other options would be a better setup but it all depends what you're interested in doing like main drains or smaller fixture drains. Hope this helps!
