I personally love my exmark with its unbeatable cut quality! While my Ferris is unmatched with a comfortable ride but cut quality is lacking! I’m looking into new mowers and would like to hear from you! What is your favorite in between of quality cut and quality ride?
Hey, I’m in Indiana and I’ve run a few different mowers over the years.
I really like my Toro for that sweet spot between cut quality and ride comfort. The Exmark cuts amazing like you said, but the Toro gives me close to that quality while being noticeably smoother and more comfortable on longer days. The suspension and seat setup are solid without sacrificing the clean cut.
Ferris is definitely king for pure comfort, but I agree the cut can be hit or miss depending on conditions. Right now my Toro is my daily driver — reliable, great cut, and doesn’t beat me up as much.
