This would absolutely be worth the trip for me, especially if it was designed around learning, collaboration, and building relationships.
I’d love to see live demonstrations from vendors so we can get hands-on experience with equipment before making major investments. Bringing companies like Ferris, Echo, Stihl, Milwaukee, Greenworks, Toro, **bleep**, and others would be a huge benefit for home service businesses.
I also think breakout sessions for different industries would be valuable. Landscaping, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, pressure washing, and other trades all have unique challenges, but we can still learn from one another. Sessions on pricing, marketing, hiring, leadership, financial planning, AI, automation, and getting the most out of Jobber would be incredible.
One thing I’d especially enjoy is hearing from successful Jobber users who started with just a mower, a truck, or a dream and built thriving businesses. Those real-life stories inspire people who are just starting out.
I’d also love opportunities for networking, mentorship, and even speed networking where new business owners can sit down with experienced owners and ask questions. Those conversations can change the trajectory of a business.
Finally, I think it would be amazing to recognize community members who consistently help others, celebrate grant recipients, and explain how members can grow within the Jobber Community—from contributor to ambassador. Encouraging members to engage, share knowledge, and support one another only makes the community stronger.
I’d travel for an event like that without hesitation. It wouldn’t just be a conference—it would be an investment in my business, my family, and the community I serve through Mowing With A Purpose Landscaping. 💚🌱
