Who is planning on going to the Jobber Now event in Texas?

I have been seriously thinking about attending the Jobber Now event but for me, it is a serious investment of time and money as I live in Toronto, Canada.

I love to hear from some of you who are going and why?

I am sure those who live in Houston or in that area would have a different answer than those in New York or even in Canada but do want to hear why.

Hey PestFree, I'm going to be heading down from Vancouver. I'll be there Monday to Friday, basically.

I know they are working on having some breakout rooms where Jobber users are actually gonna get to get their hands dirty and really get into the software and actually get to work at the conference (instead of just listening to a bunch of people talk and then leaving with a bunch of notes that you don't implement when you get home).

Also, a bunch of new features will be released, which is always super exciting.

  • I am attending but I live here.  I am from Toronto too and we had our business there, but moved to Austin last year and started up again from scratch under an E2 visa.

In Canada it was my husband's business that I ran google ads for, but he didn't start it. And I am the one who starts businesses between us, but new to home services and have a lot to learn. Specifically interested in people's tech stacks (want to get away from Zapier or find way to stop them breaking all the time) and also learn about optimizing our schedule to max our revenue per technician. I am going to bring a list of questions that I am hoping to get a variety of answers to. I also need some home service friends.

And finally, Austin is a fun place to visit if you haven't been!

I would love to chat tech stack with you. I’ve also gotten away from Zapier and I’m using AI for a lot of our automations and other bolt ones to jobber. So we should definitely chat. Also have a YouTube channel. It’s called tech stack for the trades and it is very Jobber centric so maybe check that out as well.

    Hey Jobberinos!
I'll be attending on behalf of Thumbtack - a leading source of high-intent leads from homeowners in the USA.

A bit about me...I'm Canadian, and have worked as a Partnerships Leader in home services focused software for the past 10 years. I lived in Vancouver for 20+ years but recently moved to Port Stanley, ON with my young family. Golf, and houses, are cheaper and it's way easier to get a tee time here in SW ON, but I do miss the mountains.

I'm excited to visit Austin for the first time and look forward to meeting all of you. Come and say Hi! Even if you don't want to learn about Thumbtack, I'm happy to share my insights and expertise on optimizing your tech stack and operations. With over a decade supporting home service businesses and learning from some of the best in the industry, I'm happy to share my knowledge!
