Hello to all !!!
I'm JR Lopez, a former and retired MOBILE TOOLS and EQUIPMENT Dealer since 1994 in which I started as a Franchisee with CORNWELL Quality Tools in Miami, Florida and Yes I was the only dealer in Miami-Dade County for many years with a huge Territory and lots of stops and customers, but at the time the company did not have in house financing so I could not grow more the business plus did not have other dealers support, I was the only one. In 1998 I went to Matco Tools another franchise and went because they have financing so I went ballistic selling what they do manufacture best which are the TOOL Boxes best in the business, and in 2007 I lost my oldest son (23) in a motorcycle accident and Matco cancelled my franchise for lack of performance, I had just lost my son and they did not care cause for them I was just a number, so I went back to Cornwell Tools with an agreement of Recruiting New Dealer, so I did 4 new dealers in 3 years in exchange for my Tool Inventory ($40 K) and was paid in full, So now we where more dealers in Miami-Dade until 2015 that NAPA recruited me for District Sales Manager for the Miami Distribution Center and to handle 89 stores in Florida, Central America, The Caribbean, Bahamas and Netherlands Antilles and others with a Quota of sales of 5.5 Million so again I comply for First and only year for 6.1 Million in sales until 2017, then I moved to Orlando to work for a Snap-On Franchisee, which was the worst decision ever made, he promised lots and never accomplish, total lie.
Found a sales and service job with a Lawnmower and Equipment organization until 2021 that by referral went to become a dealer and Route Developer for USA Tools in Tampa, Florida and developed 4 routes in the Orlando area until retirement in 2025, mostly because of health issues and now I'm a home based Woodworker.
As you can tell I do have plenty experience and I'm sure to be an asset to this community, thanks for a great opportunity, Regards JR Lopez
