Job pricing
Not sure if this is in the right spot. Came from yardbook. (for those that have seen my posts yes i compare to that alot. its functionality is amazing. and its built for lawn care specefically so there are more than a few things that there that wouldn't be as much of a priority for something thats goal is to be for every service industy) anyways they had a feature where you clock in and out of a job. (you could clock out come back and clock back in and would still keep track as long as you on that perticular service) anyways there was a report you could go to and enter in your targeted hourly rate. it would then run through all the jobs, and let you know if you were where you needed to be. Yes i can do that manually, but the tab was a quick check in. run it monthly and see if there are patterns, oh this job is alway under and taking longer i need to adjust price, oh this is always more profitable hourly rate wise, how do i get more jobs like that, what do i do differently etc.Jobber Roadmap
I didn't find a topic that I thought fit to post this so I figured I would try here since I want some Insight. I came here from Housecall Pro. One of the things they had that I loved as a published website roadmap. That way we could see what type of items the Devs had planned and were working on. Not everything had a timeline on release but it at least let us know the devs heard us and would eventually implement it. That helped us know to stop asking for the same features over and over again. It also showed what had already been pushed out. So if you missed the publishing, you could still see the updates and feature releases there. They also had a form for you to submit ideas and then people could upvote it. That let others know if we were having the same problem to collaborate on work arounds and solutions while also letting the developers know what items were most wanted by the most people. We would have the ability to do most of that here easily with a simple Topic of "Feature Requests". I'm sure I'm preaching to the Choir here when I say we are too busy to call the success line every time we wish Jobber had a feature.Solved50Views0likes2CommentsPulling a report on different revenue categories
Hello, My business get revenue from 4 different areas. Sales, installations, Rentals, Service Agreements. I would like to be able to see a report that shows the total revenue for each of those categories. I have created custom fields with those categories but can't seem to figure out how to get a report on those. Currently jobber just lumps all revenue into jobs so I can't get a good idea of performance on each or what my average ticket is on each unless I do leg work and manually go in, export and parse it all out. Is there a report that does this in jobber? Thanks ErnieErnie13 days agoContributor 229Views0likes1CommentAdding A Column to a Report for Export
I'm going through my day to days and running a report on all of our jobs, both opened and closed. The report I run is Reports - One off Jobs - Export all columns to excel. What I'd like to see when I export this to a spreadsheet is Job Status. I'm able to see a job is closed and their is often an invoice noted but there are times when I will have invoiced for a deposit but still need to do a final invoice so the status would be a CLEAR indicator for the report. Some of our jobs have 1 invoice and others could have 3 or 4 invoices. So to get to my point I can't rely on the "Closed Date" and "Invoiced" column to tell me that job no longer needs my eyes on it. This report would be a one stop shop for weekly job reviews if the report showed status.MandyS23 days agoContributor 232Views0likes1Comment- rebecca26 days agoJobber Community Team1.3KViews4likes30Comments
How to back up job photos and files from Jobber?
Hey all, just wondering if this is something others have run into. A few of our clients have been talking about how they handle long-term storage of job photos and documents, especially when staff leave, or when they want to organize files outside of Jobber. Some mentioned wanting to move things to Google Drive or DropBox automatically, but I’m not sure how common that need really is. Just curious, have you or your team thought about this? Is keeping a backup of Jobber media files part of your process, or not really a concern? Appreciate any thoughts! Hey all, I recently had to take off the Jobber Lead form from my site because I cannot figure out of to track the leads being converted from google ads. Typically when they click submit, they are redirected to a thank you page and the URL of that page triggers the Google Conversion Tracker as a submitted lead form. Due to this, I had to revert back to my old lead form so I can track the conversions and now have to manually put leads into the CRM... which sucks and was one of the main reasons I got jobber.afas2 months agoContributor 2451Views1like4CommentsCancellation report
So apparently there is no report to run that shows cancelled/unscheduled jobs in a given time period. Has anyone else asked for this feature? I just asked customer service to submit as a requested feature - hopefully, it's fast-tracked as I can't see how this isn't available. Has anyone found some way with zapier to track your canceled jobs and their values so you can track that metric?86Views1like5CommentsProjected revenue
I would like to look at my upcoming schedule (by day, by week, or a custom range), and see the projected revenue based on future visits. I own a lawn service/maintenance company, and we invoice our customers after every visit. For example, when I see tomorrow's schedule, I would like to see the total number of visits, the revenue associated with each visit, and the total revenue for the day. I have never found a report in Jobber for this. I'm surprised that it isn't on the dashboard. Does anyone else think similarly? Are there easy work-arounds?Derek13 months agoContributor 3316Views3likes8Comments
