In our electrical business, we’ve started using AI and automation to tighten up the backend—things like faster quoting, cleaner proposals, and more consistent follow-ups. It’s not replacing the work, but it’s making us way more efficient and professional on the customer side. Response time alone has been a game changer.
That said, there’s still a gap. The companies really winning right now are the ones fully integrating AI into estimating, marketing, and operations, not just dabbling in it. That’s the next level we’re actively building toward.
Bottom line—if you’re not using tools to move faster and look more polished than your competition, you’re probably just keeping up… and in this market, that’s risky.
