If Jobber hosted an in-person event, what would make it worth the trip?

Wow, if these are just some of the events, I could see myself getting a lot out of the Jobber in-person event!

Some of the specific topics I would be interested in:

• Hiring Tips presentation
• Making a profit presentation
• Customer service training for my team - cleaning techs - they don't only do cleaning 
• Managing the stress of running a business
• Growing pains of a business
• Marketing in a saturated market

I love these events!!!!

I’m particularly interested in hands-on training that will help me expand the range of services I can offer. Skills like door and window repair/replacement, general carpentry, deck repair, and fence repair would allow me to help more customers — especially homeowners who struggle to find reliable help for these jobs. I would also like to network with both new and experienced handymen to learn best practices, share knowledge, and build relationships within the local trades community. There is just to many things you cant learn in a book. If the training provides skills that will genuinely increase my capabilities and allow me to serve more people, I would be fully committed to taking the time off work. I believe the investment will pay for itself many times over through the additional jobs I’ll be able to complete.

More people would likely attend if Jobber partnered with a major trade event. One trip, multiple learning opportunities. Attendees could learn the software and hear about upcoming features.  This can help bring the Jobber community closer. And also build relationships with vendors and contractors.

What would actually make it worth taking time from starting my business is all three…networking with other pros, hands-on product training, and hearing directly from the Jobber team about what’s coming. It would definitely bring true meaning and understanding on starting my new business.
