Managing and ingesting leads from multiple lead gen platforms is incredibly time consuming. HomeDepot Pro Referral and TaskRabbit (yeah...TaskRabbit) are our two big blindspots right now. Thumbtack's integration is defective and requires data clean up (First and Last Name are conjoined in the First Name Field...and now the wrong phone number is being passed in on every lead). By default lead ingestion should be one-way (write-only), not bi-directional (read/write)...and they should not have access to our contacts and calendars, as Thumbtack is now demanding.
As more 3rd party integrations come online, and existing integrations introduce AI, Jobber should consider kill switches for these API connections that prevent a 3rd party from wiping our data when a rogue AI agent at Thumbtack or some other platform starts deleting our leads, contacts and appointments. Those protections will be the quintessential time and business saver.
