One thing we’d really love to see here at Steworks Solar is a better way to handle the transition from an approved quote into an actual job.
Right now, one of the biggest things we want to avoid is having an approved quote sitting somewhere in the system without making it obvious that the next step is to turn it into a job. Ideally, once a customer approves a quote, we’d love to be able to hand that process off and have it automatically create an unscheduled job.
The reason this would be so helpful for us is simple: no job should ever get lost. Once a customer has approved the work, that project needs to move forward into our workflow without someone having to remember to manually create another record or go back and check which quotes were approved.
