If I could hand off one task in my business today it would be estimating and planning the bigger, more complicated jobs. I’m usually out in the field doing the work, and when the day ends, I’m still thinking through materials, pricing, measurements, and how to tackle the next project. My wife handles so much of the business behind the scenes, but as a small family business, there’s always something that follows us home. Having someone take that planning off my plate would let me focus on the work I do best, take on more opportunities, and actually shut the business off at the end of the day once in a while. I love the work. I love what I do. I'd just love to have a little more time to do it and a little less time spent running the business after work.
