We started our Property Maintenance/Handyman business and in the beginning, we took on remodeling projects and at the end of a couple years we found that our most profitable business was in the smaller projects that could be completed in a few hours to a single day. Today we provide home warranty work, Apartment maintenance and Maintenance on Vacation rental properties like Vrbo and Airbnb. Now 92% of our jobs are obtained with no estimates and profitability averaging 70%. No more running around providing estimates to tire kickers and more productive use of our time. Plus, no more pay for leads that are so costly. Just something to think about.
