Newbie here. Background: 20 years in public education and 10 years as an A&P (aviation mechanic). I’ve renovated my own properties over the years and kept getting asked, “Do you work on other homes?” As of January 2026, I decided to make it official and launch a legitimate handyman LLC. So far I have two repeat clients, and one has already lined up additional work including a full kitchen renovation. I’m currently building out an enclosed trailer as a rolling toolbox setup, think Ron Paulk style, and will apply my business logo to it next month. I'm also researching the whole marketing and networking thing, and software that will assist in the administration side. Honestly, I’m surprised that without really pushing hard yet, I already have work. Looking forward to learning from everyone here as I build this the right way.
