"What's your 2026 Business Goal?" Jobber Summit Travel Giveaway

I am a landscaper/driveway installer! My goal is to double or triple my income this year! I am a solo operator and want to stay small as this supports my family! I am a new school bus driver so time management is going to be key to my success! 

I'm hoping jobber can help me improve profits this year.

Hi there we are JJ Mechanical Heating and Cooling we are looking to start and scale our business this year to get my partner and I working in the field with two independent trucks , we are new so we are looking at marketing advice , how to price our books to handle our future goals and be affordable while providing the excellent quality we provide on every job

At Blue Moon Renovations, LLC, we are a father and son general contracting team built on trust transparency and clear communication serving residential and commercial clients across Central Florida. Last year was our breakout year since starting the company in 2019. We went from managing about one job per month to consistently running three to five projects at a time with most of our work now being six figure contracts. This year our focus is on tightening our systems improving execution and prioritizing structure so we can continue to grow without losing the quality relationships and hands on involvement that built this company.

Blue Phoenix Yard Care will be coming into its 6th season of business this spring. Jobber has been there most of the way! 😊Being a recent startup, one tends to take any job, anywhere, any time to break ground. Now that I have built a solid client base and am comfortable in my shoes it’s time to mature.

1. Set service area boundaries and increase route density. I don’t want to drive all over the city as a single truck team anymore. (Edmontonians in the forum know that every corner you turn the city is tore up with construction and driving delays) I would rather the mower blades spinning than the truck wheels standing still in traffic. 

2. Work with customers that want to make a difference to their properties.  I don’t want to just go and cut the weeds down every week or sometimes every other week.

3. Start exploring what it may take to get into commercial property lawn maintenance

4. Of course, increase revenues for the year! 

For me this year business goal get establish both in adversting and getting jobs coming in that going solo be comes a possibility 

From NJ - Our goal for 2026 is to transition from traditional road service and gas station inventory work for a company into an independent, hands-on service business that can grow from weekends into a full-time livelihood.

My husband currently works in road service and inventory at a gas station. He’s highly skilled with physical, practical work and wants to build something of his own rather than stay in a job that relies heavily on long hours and overtime. We plan to start the business on weekends, use that income to first replace his overtime, and then steadily grow it to replace his full-time job which totals $50k a year with OT and commissions.  

This year, we’re focused on:

- Discovering which type of business to do that can help turning his existing hands-on experience into a customer-facing service business

- Validating demand with weekend jobs and repeat customers

- Learning how to price services correctly and build simple systems early (scheduling, invoicing, communication)

- Creating a clear, realistic path from side hustle to full-time work

By the end of 2026, our goal is to have consistent weekend and/or evening work, steady referrals, and a strong foundation to make the transition into full-time self-employment. 

As we wrap up our first year in business, growth is very much on our radar. We’ve scooped for 20+ clients so far, a few one-off cleanups and mostly repeat visits. Our big goal is to hit 50 regular clients by summer 2026.

Ambitious? Sure. Doable? Absolutely.

In 2026, we are looking to tighten our routes and possibly start a third route for our lawncare business. Also looking more to reporting to understand how to more efficiently run our business.
