How concerned are junk removal businesses with landfill waste?

Do you haul away many categories of junk or just metal? Our company take care of anything from metal to household decor, more so like a one-stop shop in our case. We have actually been questioning our prices because landfills (which we try to avoid) charge quite a bit for items. Being in this industry for about five months, I see more how a constant flow of non-recyclables can harm not just the planet but people's quality of life.
