How can a dirt or excavation business add recurring services instead of one-off jobs?

My business is 1 year old, first year i did everything to test the market and see what services are in demand.&nbsp; I found property debris clearing is the most prevalent but i did hardscaping, lawn installs, grading and such.&nbsp; For the first year i am surprised how busy i was bringing in about $100k in revenue.
Key Point:&nbsp; i find what i am doing are one off jobs and inconsistent, i would like to pursue services that estabishes recurring business.&nbsp; i do not want to mow lawns.&nbsp;
What would you suggest a good complimentary business, landscaping such as installing grass, bushes, plants etc or something else?

Depending on your climate watering plants and grass, dead heading plants and bushes, trimming, garbage clean up could be ways to sell a recurring service.

One thing I like to keep in mind is once you are in front of a customer at their home, if you have other skill sets you can offer them and they trust you, you can get yourself into a lot of different revenue streams. Even teaming up with other trade professionals so you have a lot of different people out promoting you and your work, and you are out doing the same for them.

They constantly need clearing, grading, trenching, and site prep, which can turn into steady repeat work.

You could also offer things like driveway regrading, drainage fixes, storm cleanup, and brush clearing for property managers or larger properties. Those tend to come back year after year.In my experience, recurring work in this industry usually comes from being the go-to site guy, not necessarily adding a totally different service.
