How do businesses handle different tax rates when working in multiple areas?
What does everyone do to make sure they are using the right tax rate when you are **bleep** business all over the place. We use QuickBooks that does it for us so when it integrates its all messed up if I don't stop and look it up but if Im going to do that I mind as well just use QuickBooks.Young Contractor Focused on Growth & Systems
Hey everyone, I’m Andrew—owner of Rodgers Home Construction. I focus on residential renovations, additions, and building projects done right the first time. Right now I’m focused on leveling up the business side; estimating, job tracking, and building a team that takes pride in the work. I joined this community to connect with other contractors who are serious about growth. What’s one system or process that made the biggest impact in your business?Starting on my own
Hi everyone my name is Tyler Paszek owner of Paszek Construction I mainly focus on residential projects and renovations. I'm from la crosse wi and have decided to go out on my own at the ripe age of 20 without much capital and without much help. I've watched the concern for quality go down significantly in my area since I started swinging a hammer and want to make a difference in my work. I've dedicated myself to my profession because I believe every client deserves the highest quality regardless of the profit at the end, the goal is always to make money but a strong lasting relationship with customers will always bring more work. if anyone has any advice for a young man who's hungry and dedicated I would love to hear it!!Roll Call! I hear so many customers who hire these large companies that charge high prices like $25,000.00 for a shower replacement or a whole bath remodel for upwards of $40,000.00. These prices are ridiculous for the average homeowner. Our company can complete a solid surface shower change out for around $10,000.00 if there are no rotten damage under old shower or floor covering replacement unless requested by the homeowner. I know there are cases that prices can increase depending on the homeowners' choices but let be for real. Those really high costs are just overcharging or taking advantage of people.Industry virtual networking starting March 17
Update: Our 4-week networking pilot has wrapped. Thank you to everyone who joined! We brought pros together across industries for weekly 30-minute sessions focused on real business challenges, and the conversations delivered. There was strong participation, valuable idea-sharing, and great feedback from those who joined. 👉 The goal was simple: bring a challenge and get ideas from other pros, and that’s exactly what happened. We’re now taking what we learned and determining next steps, with plans to likely bring these back in the future. If you found these valuable, or are interested in joining future sessions, let us know in the comments and we’ll keep you posted on what’s next. Really appreciate everyone who took the time to be part of this!189Views8likes10CommentsLinking invoices to jobs
i think there needs to be a way to link invoices to jobs manually and vise versa. Say you send over an invoice before you start the job and then you create a job so the employees have tickets, and all your expenses and labor go on the job but the invoice is already paid. When you close out the job it says invoicing required but the invoice has already been paid and closed out and there is no way to link that invoice to that job.Solved48Views0likes3CommentsReliable Spray foam insulation Contractor seeking trade partnerships.
