From what I've seen, the most consistent jobs tend to come from relationships rather than job boards.
Realtors, property managers, builders, architects, designers, and past clients can become strong referral sources over time. One solid relationship can often generate more work than dozens of cold leads.
I'd also make sure your Google Business Profile, reviews, and project photos are dialed in. A lot of homeowners start their search online, and trust plays a huge role in who gets the call.
The contractors I see growing steadily usually have a mix of referrals, repeat business, and a strong local online presence rather than relying on a single source of leads.
