Where do remodeling and new construction contractors find jobs?

Networking and groups is the common theme above and I agree. Being apart of multiple large contracting groups has allowed me to make contacts across the country in my field. However, a more direct approach would be to look up contracting companies online and determine if they are worth calling and walking in to ask for an interview.
