Don’t Let the Job Break You: Know the Risk Before You Say Yes

Some contractors have been in business 10+ years… and the trade they loved, now they hate.

You talk to them and it’s always the same tone:
“That’s just how it is.”
“Everyone deals with this.”
“You just have to grind it out.”

But what if that’s not business?
What if that’s just the lens they’ve been looking through?

You’ve heard the glass analogy, half full or half empty.

If everything you see feels like a burden, a risk, or a losing game…
That’s not just business fatigue. That’s mindset.

Don’t get me wrong, this work is hard and risky.
But not all risk is bad.

There’s a difference between blind risk and calculated risk.
And when you see that clearly, you stop gambling and start building something.

So before you take that next job, bid, or partnership, or begin to freak out about being in new waters...

Ask yourself:
Is this worth it? Or are you just hoping it works out?

How do you all feel about this ?
