We are always trying to create new ways to push us through January and February due to snow (we’re based in PA). To lock in cash flow, we ran a Black Friday prepay option to help maintain. We have increased our SEO spend and are spending extra time focusing on the client lifecycle journey— this includes little extras at milestone marks. When we are unable to fully book, we’ll run email campaigns to bring discounted work in as well.
Another thing that helps us is some of our staff has to stay home with their kids during snow days and that’s a selling point for candidates (flexibility). Luckily clients also cancel on snow days as well so it balances out!
