What does “your best year yet” actually mean for your home service business in 2026?

Every service business wants their ✨ best year yet ✨, but after talking to other home service pros, that usually means more than just higher revenue.

For some, it’s:

  1. Steadier work through slow seasons
  2. Healthier margins without burning out
  3. Fewer last-minute scrambles and more predictability day to day

When you think about 2026 being your best year yet, what does that actually look like for your business?

  • I have thought about this already and I think my "best year yet" is going to be the year I hire an employee to do the technical work for me and I can focus on growth. I am not sure if 2026 is that year, for sure it isn't out of the question though.

As a new company, I also look forward to having many years ahead of me of my "best year yet"!

That’s an exciting place to be! Even considering that first hire means you’re thinking like a growth-stage owner already. And I love that mindset: plenty of “best years” still ahead. 🙌

  • Great question and I love to dream - so my dream is for a best year:

    • No staff turnover
    • Profit above 7%
    • Aligned customers and team members with our core values

Let the dream Gods do their work now :)

      No dream too big 🚀

No staff turnover and aligned values is such an underrated growth goal.  Low turnover, healthy profit, and values alignment are all signs of a business that’s built to last~
