Is Jobber's dedicated business phone number a game changer for small businesses?"

So i had a brake and was watching reels and saw that Jobber offers a dedicated business phone number that lets customers text and call while keeping everything tied to your business. That's definitely A game changer đź’Ş...  For those of you using it:

• Has it helped you win more customers?

• Do clients respond more when they recognize your business number?

• Is it better than using your personal cell phone or services like Google Voice?

• Would you pay extra for this feature, or is it something every CRM should include?

ThatHandymanVan I think Jobber is bested used for everything else except the intake. That I would highly recommend Go high Level. You can do all that in GHL and it integrates with jobber. There is so much automations you can set up in that system, when you use it with jobber it's a powerful combo. Thing is the intake process is a beast of it's own so I think it needs it's own system.

I agree though that it creates too much confusion texting from one number then calling from another.

  • If we were able to make and receive calls in the app, it would be. However, when the customer calls us back, we answer it on our personal phones, then the tech ends up calling the customer on their personal line (its just muscle memory). If we send a estimate to the customer through the app, the customer replies to that message and now they have 2 ways to get ahold of us. It gets confusing where what conversation happened. Even using an external dialer like open phone. It needs to be all in-house like workiz or Housecall.

If this update comes out I can come back to Jobber.
