Just wondering what everyone is paying for Accounting and Book keeping. We're in Alberta and trying to compare/ see what is reasonable. Also curious what all your book keepers offer - we meet monthly right now with ours and bi-annually with our CPA.
This will really be a hard question to answer because reasonable is relative. It really depends on what you are seeking from a bookkeeper and accountant. Also how big are your operations is critical, like the number of transactions reviewed monthly, the number of balance sheet accounts that need to be reconcile, does your service include tax planning and tax preparation, accrual base accounting, WIP reporting, the list can go on.
I appreciate your curiosity but I also wanted you to consider a lot of factors that determines pricing. Hope this helps.
