Hey there, this is my third season in business and first year being full time. From all I have learned and researched mowing and maintenance can yield about 20-25% profit margin in very efficient businesses. There are better margins by having a broad service mix. Still learning myself and interested in what has worked well for others.

Profit rises and you realize that there are a lot of other things you can offer a customer too. Look around a property for other opportunities. You can either refer work to another trusted pro or take it on yourself! That's one of the best ways to make a call more profitable.

Quite profitable after everything comes out this week. And only 2 days of mowing we’ll clear $2,800. I’m only part time in the business and we are on track for $100k this year.
