I have a commercial property in Texas zone 8. The customers are wanting to get rid of the weeds and have grass. There is a couple of grasses in the mix like Bermuda. What would be smoothest way of transferring them from weeds to grass I don’t think they mind the type of grass that it is, just whatever is most economical and simple. I am starting a lawn business in south Florida in the next few months. I have been doing research on commercial grade electric lawn equipment and was hoping to get some feedback from anyone that has attempted to do this or is currently running electric. What are the pros and cons that you are seeing and experiencing? I'm open for discussion with weed eaters, blowers, zero turn and stand-up mowers, and even chain saws and pole saws. Thanks for the feedback!47Views0likes4CommentsHow much should you charge to install a small paver pad for a residential customer?
What is a reasonable quote for a 4x8 paver pad next to the home for the trash cans to sit on? Materials are already purchased, just wondering what a realistic quote would be. We are based in KY.24Views0likes1CommentWhat to do when it won't stop raining, and all your upcoming jobs rely on dry weather?
Hey everyone, my name is Justin and I own and operate Father's Land Rescue. We primarily work outside, in the elements, every day. When the ground is too wet, we are unable to bring in our heavy equipment. Due to the unpredictable, rainy Ohio weather, we have had to move jobs daily and weekly, according to the upcoming predicted weather, which constantly changes. We try to use the rainy days for outside marketing and research, but have had more rainy days than dry. We rent most of our equipment, due to the unpredictable constant rain, we are constantly changing our rental date requests. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to better manage outdoor jobs dependent on the weather?102Views2likes1CommentHas anyone jumped out and made their business full time?

My name is Trey, and I'm currently a senior at Carroll High School, graduating in a couple of weeks. Over the past year, I started building my lawn care business, Laser Cuts, in the Fort Wayne area. I mainly focus on mowing, trimming, edging, mulch installs, shrub removal, and yard cleanups. One thing I've tried to focus on most is keeping prices affordable while still doing quality work. I know a lot of families and elderly homeowners struggle with expensive lawn care prices, so I try to keep my standard mowing around $40 and often go above and beyond on jobs to help people keep their properties looking good. I've been growing mostly through Facebook, word of mouth, and local advertising. I'm trying to continue scaling the business, invest in better equipment, and eventually turn this into a long-term career.22Views1like1Comment
