I love this! What app do you use for it? We run our time off requests through connecteam
connecteam is great but ive found that highly integrated apps turn off a lot of our employees, i built a custom in-house solution, sat down with my team and asked them "ok what would make it easier for you to request time off, what are agreeable terms that we can all agree on regarding point deductions, does this sound fair? any suggestions? etc. The app itself works as more of a step by step form, asking the basics: what days/time do you need off, reason, then the acknowledgement and the ability for me to confirm or deny.
The part that helps me the most is the backend trail it generates in our database, it auto sends email and text confirmations to the employee and myself so we are all on the same page, communication is THE MOST important component.
