Just a word of advice. When hiring people, do not take their word on skill sets. Do your due diligence to check their qualifications. Otherwise, you might find yourself re-doing their work. Try to work alongside of them until you are comfortable with their level of skill. Another tip is to use existing subcontractors that have a good reputation in your line of business. Good luck with your expansion.

Yes. The great thing about sub-contracting is you can use them only when a need arises. Building relationships with great sub-contractors can elevate one's business. Once you establish the sub-contractor relationship, you know you can count on them to perform thus relieving your anxiety and stress level. I like what Judith said about core values. It is important that your subs have the same understanding as yourself thereby when they are on the job, you are on the job. Hope this helps.
