Welcome brother! I am a former FT FF/PM now running my company full time as a tradesman. You are going to need someone you can trust for those days where you are on shift. You need to be able to rely on them when you're unavailable to make the right decisions when needed. Fortunately, there are trustworthy personnel in our profession who are always looking for a side hustle, so they may be able to get you through busy times. I was fortunate with a 24/72 shift and able to line up buddies to help me out. Finding that "right hand man" is going to take some time but will be worth it. Be sure to take care of them as an employer and you will be fine. Good luck and stay safe!
