Subcontractor agreements

Happy Thanksgiving! I am subbing out a couple pressure washing jobs in the coming weeks and need some contracts in place with the subs. Would like for them to assume liability if using my equipment, be paid upon job completion and satisfaction, and agree to adhere to high quality standards. Anyone have something I can poach? Thank you!

  • FredHodgeJrhas some great ideas on this.  There are some templates for sale online if you look around but it may be best to have an attorney draft up something specific for your situation.

  • Chat GPT can certainly help you draft a subcontractor agreement. Generally subs aren't going to be using your equipment though, that toes the line of an employee. I would also recommend that you collect the payment. We make 30-40% on our subcontractor jobs, and I know that would cause problems if they saw that, they are getting the price they wanted and then we sell it. Customer satisfaction, completion of the job and high standards 100% should be included.
