Great question! We’ve been through a number of them but currently use QB.
- QuickBooks Payroll (Simplest Setup): If you want zero extra apps and seamless reporting, QBO’s native payroll is the easiest route. Jobber timesheets sync directly into QuickBooks, making payroll run smoothly without messing with third-party syncs.
Jobber Help Center - Gusto (Best overall for HR & Benefits): Gusto is a huge community favorite for home service pros. It integrates cleanly with both Jobber and QuickBooks Online, and it handles things like team onboarding, health benefits, and 401(k)s much better than QB native.
- ADP RUN (Best for complex setups/construction): If you deal with heavy workers' comp, certified payroll, or complex blue-collar compliance, ADP RUN integrates with QuickBooks and handles those heavy-duty requirements well.
Quick tip: If your technicians collect digital tips or track job hours in Jobber, make sure your approved timesheets sync over to QBO before running payroll so your labor costs and payouts stay accurate!
