The best worker I have ever found is the son of one of my clients. I was chatting with the client and she mentioned her 22 year old son was looking for a job. He ended up coming home while I was there and we started chatting and hit it off immediately. Hired him pretty much on the spot. He was exactly what I was looking for and couldn't be happier.
Keep an eye out for talent, you never know where you're gonna find the right person.
I love this because it is SO true. We found our one guy through a customer that we became friends with. Her son was going through some difficult times dealing with a separation and depression. She asked us if we had anything to just get him out of the house. We did and it turned into a long term arrangement!
