What holiday tradition did your business start by accident?
Maybe somebody brought a sweet potato pie to the shop one year. The next December, somebody asked, “You’re bringing that pie again, right?” 😂 Just like that, bringing the pie became somebody’s job.
What’s one thing your crew or family did once during the holidays that everyone looks forward to now? I’d love to hear how it got started.
One of the journeymen who works with my partner brought homemade lilikoi (passionfruit) moonshine once to a Christmas party a few years back. What started off as a one-time fun experiment became his yearly responsibility to make and bring enough for the whole crew LOL.
And every winter, their company hosts a Christmas party. So around December, everyone is super curious on what the next get together will be like. One year it was a company wide trip to Japan, another year it was a weekend stay at the Sheraton in Waikiki. The bar is set pretty high so I wonder what we'll be doing this year 😅😆
