How do you balance work and family?

I think you need to avoid talking about work stuff over meals. If you have a home office, maybe leave all the work convos for that room. 

It's also important for us type A personalities that don't stop thinking about work, to have hobbies. Things that you are trying to get better at or have fun doing outside of working. This will naturally encourage you to compartmentalize work and it'll be easier to do it with family. 

Also, get a dog. haha
