All business owners that run their business themselves know that every choice counts. As we grow we learn more and more which choices make the best sense for your client, for your business, and we cannot forget our family. Best way to approach this for me lately has been to continually balance the best outcome for all and it’s a win all the time!
So true. Every decision has a ripple effect. I’ve learned that the best choice isn’t always the fastest or easiest one. Sometimes it means looking at what serves the customer, supports the business, and still protects time for family. Finding that balance is definitely part of growing as a business owner.
Everyone needs to find what works for them. There was a period in my life where I didn't start any job before 10am so I could play volleyball every morning, and was good making $400 cash for the day. Now my life looks a lot different. It's more stressful and I take more risks. Sometimes it doesn't feel like a win BUT I'm always looking to do the next best right thing. Something goes sideways on a job? What's the best solution given the situation - do that. Are you burned out? Do what's going to fill you up or take a day off in the middle of the week, let your team know. It's all about what your goals are and doing the next best right thing to get there.
